Hello,

There is a possibility that you may be suffering from sleep paralysis. Engorged neck veins may be seen in heart failure or mediastinal tumor or superior vena cava syndrome.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid stress related activities, smoking and alcohol intake. Do regular exercise and yoga.

Please get it done polysomnography, ECG, chest X-ray. Consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
